Rear passengers will enjoy 37.3 inches of headroom, 53.5 inches of shoulder room, and 35.1 inches of legroom.

To help increase fuel efficiency, the SKYACTIV engine includes cylinder-deactivation technology.
The cylinder-deactivation helps the Mazda3 hatchback conserve fuel and reduce emissions by temporarily stopping a single engine cylinder.
